Since only
these organs are considered in acupuncture theories, it doesn’t mean that only
these organs can take care alone neglecting alone. But it should be noted that these 12 organs
in itself is enough to supply and distribute the qui for other organs.
Organ such as
placenta is taken care of water element, chemical messengers (secreting
glands) can be taken care of earth
element called spleen. Organs like sense organs like ear, nose, tongue, eyes
can be taken care of these 12 organs and they are further grouped.
Another
question could be aroused here where is the organ such as brain which is the
most honoured organ in English medicine?
Brain acts as
the center of consciousness and records the works done by the organs in the
body, henceforth if brain gets disturbed in any way, only the recording of
event of one or more such elements could not get recorded or registered in its
activity.
If an alcoholic
takes up his course, he spoils his liver, but its reflection can be felt in
brain as senseless activity (sleep) or loss of memory. Trouble in small intestine can be felt in
small brain and trouble in large
intestine can be felt in larger part of
brain, such as these all these 12 organs register themselves in the activities
of brain.
Hence in Acupuncture
these 12 organs in itself is enough to register or reflex the trouble found in
the body.
