Acupuncture Meridians

We learnt that 12 organs present in their elemental list receive Qui through skin; henceforth skin has the Qui points through out the body.

As we find blood movement through blood capillaries and veins, we find movement of Qui through Qui Meridians.

Since blood is visual, its capillaries and veins are possible to see. But Qui cannot be seen and it is hidden, Qui meridians and Qui points cannot be seen also.

Since unseen Qui connects Seen organs to keep them healthy. We find the connectivity through Yin-Yang. Also when unseen Qui gets disturbed, its reflection can be felt in seen organs.

Segregation of waste is unhealthy, we know. Hence, intake of food and other habits against the nature leads to unhealthiness. Wastes get deposited in the channel and leads to strength less.

If there is disturbance in channel due to segregation of wastes. Qui movements gets lowered or even denied by the points leading to sickness.

Attributes and functions of Point and its meridians

Elemental organ takes Qui from its meridian channels and points. Each meridian channels has its own number of points, but five of them are responders of the five elemental Qui. Hence forth one meridian channel consists of five points of different elements.

How to understand this concept?

For example: Lung meridian consists of 11 points, here 5 points are reserved for 5 elements.

Since there is a belief that all the meridians and points are due to five elements, one has to understand that even these organs are due to the same five elements.

Professor Robert O Baker describes these five elemental points in a meridians and meridians as electrical cycles and meridians points as power stations in electrical cycles.

Let us find the points in meridians using example of lung meridian.

Conception vessel starts between the anus and reproductive organ to beneath the lips.

Governing vessel starts between the anus and tail bone and travels along back to ends at above the gum arrangements.
