Location of organ in the body

Organs of the fire element:

Heart: Located in Chest cavity, right in front of right part of the lung.  Heart contains four important rooms called auricles and ventricles 2 in number each to the right and left pair.  Since there are two types of circulation present in the body, pulmonary circulation and systemic circulation. Each pairs of the takes this function and connects the lung and the entire part of the body.

Small Intestine:  it is present in the abdominal cavity of the stomach.  It connects between stomach and large intestine.  It is part of the digestive system.

Organs of the earth element:

Spleen:  spleen is just below the stomach in the abdominal cavity.  It resembles lower lip and it is just below the stomach. Its function is to take the taste secretions and takes part in digestive part of the system and distributes all along the system in the body. It is consider as the mother of all secretions that needs to be transported in the body.

Stomach:  stomach is connected between the end of Oesophagus and beginning of small intestine.  It is connected just below chest cavity and fills the abdominal cavity of the body.

Organs of the air element:

Lung: lung is present in chest cavity, just inside the girder. It is seen as two parts.  Its main function is to take care of exchange of gases, with the help of alveoli and air sacs.

Large Intestine:  large intestine connects after small intestine, its location starts in abdominal cavity and spreads along Pelvic cavity and settles in pelvic girder.

Organs of Water element:

Kidney: kidney is found just above the pelvic cavity and present in pairs of either side of the abdominal cavity and just in front of the back bone. Its function is to complete excretion of waste particles. It is part of the excretory system. 

Urinary Bladder:  Urinary bladder is just below the pairs of kidney and connected to the end of each kidney.  It is placed in pelvic cavity.

Organs of wood element:

Liver: liver is the biggest organ found in the body and situated just below the left hand side of the stomach and in the abdominal cavity.  Liver is considering as the chemical factory in the functioning of the body.

Gal Bladder: Gal bladder is also present in the abdominal cavity just left-below part of the liver.  Its duty is to check for secretions in the body.

Organs of the fire element:

 

Pericardium and Triple Warmer:

 Pericardium is the outer covering of the heart, it has a special tissue called cardiac tissue, it continues its duty right from the beginning of life activity in the body. 

Triple warmer connects three regions in the body such as chest cavity, abdominal cavity and pelvic cavity.  Triple warmer is not considered as organ but a connectivity of these cavities.  Its function is to maintain the temperatures of these three cavities.

Functioning of the body:

                Functioning of these elemental organs are the source of functions in the cycles that is seen in the body. These functions can be checked using postulates prescribed in Acupuncture techniques.
